JAMES DUNCAN :: MIRROR MINOR CD

It is possible that on a cursory first listen you could overlook the unfathomable depth of James Duncan’s debut EP, but it would take cloth ears.

Veering from almost jigulatory (Do U?) to muchos moody, this is a record for all days, all seasons and preferably right now.

With wispy Air–like tendencies and electro nods, this outing is quite breezy. At it’s best when it plumbs sonic depths and where beats kick in over washes of sound.

James, James, James. You’ve gone and made one of the most concise and glorious wee packages of 2005…Bloody great, more please.
